Smart Money / Superinvestors

The best investors’ moves,
every quarter.

Rather than all 5,000+ 13F filers, Gunpowder tracks ~70 hand-picked legendary managers — and tells you what changed and where they agree, from public SEC EDGAR 13F filings.

What you get

Institutional flow score (0–100)

Each holding change is scored on position size, portfolio weight, the direction of the change, conviction, and the fund’s notability.

Quarter-over-quarter changes

New, added, reduced, and exited positions — the change is the signal, not the static snapshot.

Superinvestor consensus

Stocks where multiple curated funds moved the same direction in the same 13F wave — where conviction is clustering.

How we score it

Every holding change gets a deterministic Institutional Flow Score from 0–100 — no black box. The bigger and higher-conviction the move from a notable fund, the higher it ranks.

Frequently asked questions

Why group managers by strategy?

Value, macro, activist, and quant managers move for different reasons. Grouping helps you read a consensus correctly — five value funds buying a name means something different from five quant funds touching it.

How often does 13F data update?

Quarterly, filed up to 45 days after quarter-end. We surface the change each wave. Treat holdings as what a manager owned at quarter-end, not necessarily what they own today.

Do you track every 13F filer?

No — a curated roster of legendary managers with real long-term records, not all 5,000+ filers. It is deliberately signal over noise.
